अकोला: राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग क्र. वरील अकोला ते बाळापूर, पारस, खामगाव व नांदुरा ते मलकापूर या रस्त्याची वाट लागली आहे. कित्येकांचे अपघात घडत आहेत तर दररोज किरकोळ अपघात होत आहेत. रस्त्याच्या दुरुस्तीबाबत महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाचे दुर्लक्ष झाल्याचे दिसून येते तसेच स्थानिक लोकप्रतिनिधींनाही काहीही सोयरसुतक नसल्याचे दिसते यासाठी ‘वऱ्हाड दूत’ने ही समस्या निकाली लागावी यासाठी पुढाकार घेतला आहे.
त्यासाठी आपण सगळ्यांनी
www.pgportal.gov.in या website वर public grievances raise (तक्रार करणे) गरजेचे आहे.
pgportal.gov.in वर केलेल्या grievance ची दखल घ्यावीच लागते म्हणून जास्तीत जास्त लोकांना grievance टाकायला सांगावी, जेणेकरून रस्त्याची समस्या लवकर निकाली लागेल.

Dear Sir,
Road condition of National highway no. 6 (earlier name code) or 53 from Akola to Khamgaon Maharashtra is very bad in condition to drive. There is intentionally negligence of maintenance and repairing the pot holes. When we are asking about maintenance works of this road the reply from NHAI that new 4 lane Highway is in process.
Is it the proper reason for not doing the maintenance work?
Is public health and lives compromise due to this?
From your answer does UN Sustainable Development Goals no 11 i.e. sustainable cities and communities fulfilled?
Also, if we analysis the accident ratio on this road it will be very high. We request you please drive through these roads from Akola to Khamgaon which is only 52 Km. So that you better understand about it. Pot holes and poor roads don’t just make driving healthy, they have even claim thousands of lives in few years.
Hon. Union Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) and Hon. Union Minister of State Mr. Sanjay Dhotre (Ministry of Electronics and Information technology, Education & Communication) are from our region though we are facing these types of issues.
We are requesting you at least repair the pot holes as early as possible, so that the Highway will be liable for driving.
